The figures below are standard values for the usual rule sets of each game type, not NightWin-specific data. Individual tables can use different rules and payouts, which the game panel lists before you bet.
Common live formats and where the house edge sits (standard rules)
| Format | What you decide | The edge | Common pitfall |
| Single-zero roulette | Numbers, colours or groups before the spin | About 2.7% on most bets (one zero in 37 pockets) | Believing a colour is "due" after a run |
| Double-zero roulette | The same bets, on a wheel with 38 pockets | About 5.26%, roughly double the single-zero wheel | Not noticing which wheel the table uses |
| Blackjack | Hit, stand, double or split on each hand | Low with correct basic strategy; higher with poor decisions or worse rules | Taking insurance and side bets by habit |
| Baccarat | Back the Banker, the Player or a Tie | About 1.06% Banker and 1.24% Player; around 14% on a Tie paying 8 to 1 | Chasing the Tie for its bigger payout |
| Money wheels and game shows | Pick segments or outcomes before the round | Varies by segment and is usually higher than classic tables | Following multiplier rounds with larger stakes |
Side bets deserve a separate word. They pay more because they win less often, and their edge is usually much higher than the main bet's. If you enjoy them, keep them small relative to the main stake.
How fast live stakes add up
Live rounds feel slower than slots, but presenter-led and wheel games still run many rounds an hour. As an illustration, a £2 stake on 40 rounds an hour means £80 staked in that hour. At a single-zero roulette edge of 2.7%, the long-run average cost of that hour is about £2.16; with side bets or game-show segments, it is higher. The table's minimum stake tells you the least a round can cost, but the number of rounds decides what a session costs. Setting a time limit as well as a deposit limit keeps both under control.
Live tables with an active bonus
Live games usually count towards casino wagering at a reduced rate. If a table counted at 10%, for example, £100 of live stakes would clear only £10 of a wagering target, so the same bonus would take ten times as much live play as slot play. Many bonus terms also set a maximum stake while a bonus is active, and a single higher-limit hand can break it. When a bonus is running, it is usually simpler to clear it on the games that count in full and play live tables with a balance that has no bonus attached. Our wagering guide shows the numbers.
